The Lunch Talk of this week will be given by Dr. Yang Chen (陈洋) from Anhui University at 11:30AMOct. 29th (Thursday) in the 19th-floor Observatory Hall (天文台报告厅). The title of the talk will be 'TRILEGAL: Connecting stellar models with future large sky surveys'.

摘要：随着未来几年诸如LSST等下一代巡天望远镜的建成，大面积巡天项目将陆续开展。在这些巡天项目开展之前，进行仿真模拟是必要的。仿真模拟将帮助我们设计巡天策略，为预期科学目标提供模拟支持，也可为后续数据处理和分析程序提供模拟数据。在获得真实数据后，也可被用于检验当前模型的可靠性和不足之处。我们利用TRILEGAL正在为下一代望远镜进行银河系及近邻星系的仿真模拟工作。TRILEGAL结合了最新的PARSEC和COLIBRI恒星演化轨迹以及YBC热改正模型，可以很好地为包括CSST在内的下一代望远镜项目服务。
