摘要:
Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) are one of the most fascinating and revealing phenomena in the Universe, providing important clues to the mechanics of supermassive black holes and the evolution of galaxies. Among them, radio-quiet AGN are characterized by relatively weak radio emission but significant activity in other spectrum zones, and they constitute the bulk of the AGN population. This talk aims to explore the mysterious world of radio-quiet AGN in depth, examining their distinctive features, the mechanisms that produce them, and their key role in astrophysical research. The talk will pay particular attention to observational strategies at radio wavelengths and the challenges inherent in studying these lower brightness radio sources. The talk will also highlight recent findings and ongoing debates in current research in this field. In addition, we will look into the future, including upcoming technological advances and research opportunities to further unravel the mysteries of radio-quiet AGN.
