The Subaru Strategic Program (SSP) with Prime Focus Spectrograph (PFS) is a wide-field, multiplexed spectroscopic survey that will be conducted over 360 nights on the Subaru Telescope across five years. The PFS survey is designed to tackle fundamental questions about the dark sector—dark matter and dark energy—with far-reaching implications for cosmology, galaxy evolution, and the formation of the Milky Way. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the survey, focusing on the science and challenge of the cosmology part. This part of the survey is particularly valuable for constraining dark energy and understanding the evolution of the universe.
