Pablo Motta (莫巴洛) was born in Fortaleza, Brazil in 1997. He earned his M.Sc. (2021) and Ph.D. (2025) in Physics from the University of São Paulo and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), a position he began in December 2025.
As an active member of the BINGO Radio Telescope collaboration, Pablo has contributed to both the cosmological and instrumental aspects of the project. During his Ph.D., he completed a research internship at ASTRON – the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy, where he focused on developing and simulating phased array antenna systems for the BINGO-ABDUS telescope. His doctoral research at the University of São Paulo centered on 21cm cosmology and cosmological simulations. He also has experience in astronomical surveys and photometric redshift estimation.
His ongoing research interests include large-scale structure, 21cm intensity mapping, and the application of advanced statistical methods in cosmological data analysis.
